Priova ("Priova", "we", "our", or "us") provides an email intelligence platform designed to help users focus on decisions and actionable items within their inbox.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Priova.


1. Overview

Priova connects to your Gmail account to analyze email activity and surface what requires your attention.

Data flows through the system as follows:

  • Gmail → Priova (via secure Google API access)
  • Processing → classification, signal detection, and AI inference
  • Storage → structured metadata and decision-related signals

Priova does not store full email content and does not use your data to train AI models.


2. Information We Collect

a. Account and Authentication Data

When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Basic profile information (name, profile image)
  • OAuth-related data, including:
  • Access tokens
  • Refresh tokens
  • Token expiration timestamps
  • Authorized scopes
  • Provider account identifiers

b. Email-Derived Data

Priova processes and stores structured data derived from your inbox, including:

  • Subject lines
  • Message snippets (short previews)
  • Timestamps and thread metadata
  • Sender information (email address and display name)
  • Message and thread identifiers

We may also generate and store derived data such as:

  • Extracted portions of email content used for routing or classification
  • AI-generated summaries or contextual snippets
  • Conversation timing signals (e.g., last reply, inactivity)
  • Decision-related indicators (e.g., reply required, waiting on them)
  • System-generated classifications, scores, and contextual tags

Priova may perform limited actions on your behalf using granted permissions, such as:

  • Sending emails
  • Synchronizing mailbox updates
  • Applying permitted message-level changes

Priova does not store full email bodies.


c. Usage and Diagnostic Data

We collect operational data to maintain and improve the service, including:

  • Feature usage patterns
  • System logs and diagnostics
  • Performance metrics

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly to operate and improve Priova, including to:

  • Identify emails requiring attention or decisions
  • Detect commitments and follow-ups over time
  • Surface relevant information at the right moment
  • Maintain system reliability and performance

We do not use your data for advertising purposes.


4. AI Processing

Priova uses artificial intelligence to interpret email-related signals and generate insights.

  • Data is used exclusively for real-time processing (inference)
  • Data is not used to train machine learning models
  • AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We share data only with service providers required to operate Priova, including:

  • Google (authentication and Gmail API access)
  • OpenAI (AI processing)
  • Infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting and database services)

These providers process data under their own privacy obligations.


6. Google API Compliance

Priova’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.


7. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
  • Controlled system access
  • Infrastructure-level protections

No system can guarantee absolute security.


8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service.

You may request deletion of your data at any time.


9. User Control and Data Deletion

You maintain control over your data. You may:

  • Disconnect your Google account at any time
  • Request deletion of stored data
  • Contact us to manage or remove your information

When access is revoked, Priova stops processing new data and removes stored data within a reasonable timeframe.


10. Human Access

Priova does not allow routine human access to user email data.

Access may occur only when strictly necessary for:

  • debugging
  • security investigations
  • legal obligations

Such access is limited and controlled.


11. Third-Party Services

Priova relies on third-party services, including Google APIs and AI providers.

Your use of those services is subject to their respective policies.


12. Payment Information (Future Features)

Priova may introduce paid features in the future.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing will be handled by a third-party provider (such as Stripe).

Priova does not store full payment card details. Payment data is processed securely by the payment provider.

We may store limited billing-related information, such as:

  • subscription status
  • plan type
  • billing history (non-sensitive)

This data is used solely for account and billing management.


13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected on this page.
